Their dashboard and UI is really clean and works great. Everything you need to know about your VPS is there. It's easy to manage and upgrade your plan, domains and everything else. Their support is good and fast, although after almost 2 years I still don't know why my websites go down every now and then. Their support can't answer questions like this (somehow understandable).

For small web services or applications, you don't need the scalability of AWS, Azure or GCP. With Linode you have no surprises in the monthly cost. Otherwise, if you need to scale fast or by season demands, you'll need to do a lot of work manually.
We also use Object Storage. It fits all our needs for a small project.

It excels at small/medium business needs, maybe less so for enterprise use. Though from what I’ve used, the managed Kubernetes offering is pretty strong. Linode doesn’t offer everything like AWS or even similar competitors like Digital Ocean, but what they do offer is strong. We especially like that in most cases the pricing is very predictable. Very generous bandwidth.

There are a few people around the office using Azure as their service providers for personal projects, Every chance I get I tell them about Linode and their pricing structure, their products and their web controls. I even pull them back to my desk to show them how simple Linode is to setup, maintain and operate.

If you want a fully hosted and supported solution like Heroku, Linode isn't for you. For someone with experience dealing with server deployment and management, Linode fits the bill. But you have to arrive with at least some proficiency in command line management if you want to user Linode to its fullest. Happily they have plenty of tutorials in their library to fill in the experience blanks for beginners.

Linode is suitable if you are a start up, as it is not only low cost, but easily scalable. You do not suffer from vendor lock in to the degree you would on the Microsoft or AWS platforms. Linode's documentation is also quite extensive, and there support are their if you really get stuck. For the price, you will not find another provider with better performance or uptime.

Great for LAMP stacks and quick spin-up VMS. Bad for critical infrastructure due to outages.

As a fairly small business owner, Linode is my cloud service provider of choice for any deployment that requires long-running virtual private servers. They are an excellent alternative to the big-name monolithic cloud service providers like GCP and AWS, and frankly, Linode is friendly and personable. It feels like they are always ready to support even their smallest customers.

Because it can build up bespoke tech stacks, Linode is a cheaper option to rivals like cloud services. There are hardly no downtimes for this tool server because of its incredibly solid stability. Also Linode is a fantastic web host as their shared hosting plans are faster than competing companies. Plus, with Linode, you can find a package that suits your budget and needs with no effort at all.

Linode is a great provider for companies that want to host a few applications. They have great IaaS solutions and are starting to move into PaaS with Kubernetes.

Linode is very cost effective tool compared to other tools as it is also able to setup custom tech stacks for instance spin-up VMS unlike Amazon Web Services, Oracle Cloud etc. This tool server is very solid and fast, it rarely goes down or has any issues in regard to performance. Linode has a highly-secured, reliable and easy to deploy servers suitable for organizations that are data sensitive.

I recommend it to everyone who asks me and who needs excellent support in the technological part or to run applications with high performance.

I would go for Linode if the job requires a more straightforward, lean, and budget-conscious hosting solution compared to the bigger clouds like Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Platform, Microsoft Azure, Oracle Cloud, etc.; yet would require a more performant and reputable vendor with better support when the software being hosted is mission-critical or client-facing.

The performance of Linode is excellent and has never failed us on any day. It effectively monitors data from external sources and transforms it for business planning. It has a great backup and recovery system that gives our workforce team trust and more time to concentrate on more productive duties. It estimates the cost of project implementation and offers the best criteria of implementing tasks at minimum cost.

Linode Virtual Machines provide us [with a] quick and easy way to deploy web applications. The performance is great for small LAMP stack applications. Getting an application up and running fast is easy with Linode. A load-balanced solution spanning multiple data centers is recommended as Linode downtime though not often can be lengthy.

Linode has given us effective services in hosting our servers. It has high-security tools that protect our information from landing in the wrong channels. It monitors the performance of all activities coordinated from our servers and gives feedback to our engineers when there is a problem with our systems. It accounts for any data that is stored in our servers as well as information released to our company for planning.

Linode itself is a very cheap tool and it has multiple benefits to all businesses, especially for easy data encryption, data back up, and the data recovery tools are excellent and effective. Linode can quickly move a group of different data with different formats across several platforms and very securely.

This product has very effective tools that streamline data management infrastructure. It gives our team access controls to all our websites from the cloud with secure coding. It manages all workflows and provides reliable backup and recovery options for any information that is useful in our company. The cost of maintenance is affordable and the learning curve can easily be managed by beginners.

Linode is well suited for small to medium-sized projects/enterprises. It offers a very cost-effective solution for your business-critical deployments. They have rock-solid hardware that is capable of handling large data loads while maintaining consistent performance.

Linode is great for those who want to save money even in embarking on large-scale projects. You don't need an expensive dedicated server if you have a VPS on Linode. For those who just start making websites and applications, Linode is a great place to learn by deploying a VPS with a pre-installed script and work on it until you become a master without breaking your wallet. Linode is great for SMEs. I believe Linode can handle corporate requirements but I can't talk about it as my experience with Linode is limited to my personal projects.

Because of its ease of use it is very well suited for prototyping/experimenting.

Linode is well suited for growth. You can easily start small while you are getting set up and Linode has everything you need to grow. More resources are readily available when needed. Linode's large worldwide footprint allows you to host where your customers are.

I find that Linodes block offerings are not as robust as they should be with a minimum block of 250gb.

Based on our experience, Linode is perfect for businesses with modest needs, but considering how well even the most affordable server options handle traffic, I’m sure they can also handle more robust scenarios.
